Stuff you will do…
-
Prepare entrees, daily seafood and game meat specials and other specialized menu offerings.
-
Prepare and plate dinners to meet our high standards for taste as well as presentation.
-
Participate in ensuring the kitchen operates in a timely manner to meet our high-quality standards.

Provide back-up for the Chef in planning and directing food preparation, when necessary.
-
Solve issues as they arise to reduce potential problematic situations.
-
Participate in training and mentoring kitchen staff when necessary.
-
Participate in Chef directed on-the-job training to continually enhance culinary skills.
-
Comply with sanitation and other regulations and safety standards
There’s likely more as with any job, but that’s what a typical day/evening will look like and remember, we will train you.

Some must-haves to qualify…
-
Solid food preparation skills including sautéing.
-
Solid knowledge of proper techniques in a professional kitchen setting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment during peak times.

Welcome on-going learning and training to enhance culinary skills.
The Physical Stuff

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods and work in heat-sensitive environment

Starting $16.00 per hour, advancement available upon performance review

And Other Stuff Too

Show up 4-5 days per week, 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, though hours do vary with business volume

2 weeks paid vacation in shoulder seasons after grace period
